Academic Background and Fields of Interest:

Shira Dvir Gvirsman is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication and Journalism at the Hebrew University  of Jerusalem. Her fields of interest are the psychological influence of communication, political communication and child development. Her thesis documents the different ways in which media influence political reasoning.  

She is currently engaged in researching the effects of political violence on children in conflict areas and the role of public opinion in political conflict.

Completed 2012, now Assistant Professor in Netanya Academic College School of Communication.
