Ifat Maoz is a Full Professor, Member of the Hebrew University Standing Committee and Board of Governors, Head of Doctoral Program of the Department of Communication and Journalism and Director of the Swiss Center and of the MA and Doctoral Program for Conflict Research, Management and Resolution. Prof. Ifat Maoz holds the Danny Arnold Chair in Communication. She is a social psychologist researching psychology and media in conflict and intergroup relations. Her current main interests include social media, group identities and conflict; cognitive processing of social and political information, and the dynamics of intergroup encounters and public opinion in conflict.
