Advisor: Prof. Paul Frosh

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Communication and Journalism at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My dissertation project, supervised by Professor Paul Frosh, studies videos on social media as embodied multi-sensorial experiences, which rise to the challenges of attention in the digital age. To this purpose, I integrate visual media studies with the anthropology of the senses, using methods from both disciplines. I am also a member of "The Evolution of Attention" research group at the Mandel Scholion Research Center.

I hold a bachelor's degree in communication from Ariel University and a master's degree in communication from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. My MA thesis, written under the supervision of Professor Paul Frosh, analyzed the engagement of senses like taste and touch in recipe videos on Facebook. I also hold a foundation degree from Maaleh Film School.
