Dr. Keren Sadoun-Kerber is a post-doctoral Fellow at the Smart Institute at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Lecturer at the Open University of Israel at the department of Language, Literature and Art. She is also member of the Adarr research group at Tel Aviv University.

Sadoun-Kerber’s current research examines the ways public figures try to construct a positive self-image through discourse and to restore their image when tarnished by scandals in the Media. Her dissertation, entitled “Ethos Management and Image Repair : Presentation of the Self of great businessmen in France and in Israel”, focuses mainly on the discourse held by businessmen and women to repair damage to their reputation in different frameworks of communication.

Sadoun-Kerber received her PhD from the Cultural Studies School at the Tel-Aviv University as well as her Master degree entitled “Argumentation in Jean Giono Grand troupeau and Ecrits pacifistes, and the possibility of their translation into Hebrew” (2004).
