Efrat Daskal

Academic Background and Fields of Interest

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Communication and Journalism and I also work at the Second Authority for Television and Radio in Israel. Over the last few years I have worked as a lecturer at the Open University and a teaching assistant at the Hebrew University in various courses for undergraduates and postgraduates (e.g. Introduction to Mass Communication, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, Reading and Writing Supervision, New Media and the Information age, Theories in Communication and Culture).

 

My research interests are: media ethics, media law and policy, media regulation and media literacy, and digital rights advocacy.
